Ree Mo peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on July 20, 2024. As a
woman of faith, she gave her gratitude to God for the life she had lived and the remaining years God
blessed her with after her stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis. Ree Mo was born on Oct. 15, 1955 in Burma.
She and her family fled to Thailand to seek refuge in 1996 from military persecution in Burma. With no
educational background, she worked hard under the burning sun to provide for her family. She was a
kind woman raising many children who were left orphaned. In 2009, she and her family resettled in
Georgia. Afterward, she and her family moved to Dallas, Texas to be closer with the rest of her
immediate family members. Despite new challenges in America, Ree Mo stood strong with the love for
and from her family. She lived in the DFW metroplex the remainder of her life.
Ree Mo is survived by her husband, Beh Reh; her five children: Paw Meh (Yu Na), Lu Meh (Klo Reh), Htoo
Meh (Klaw Reh), Rota Beh (Tha Law), and Sar La Mo (Oo Meh); her brother Htay Reh; her sister Say Meh;
her sixteen grandchildren and many other extended family members.
