Michael Shaw, Jr.
Michael T. Shaw, Jr, 92, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, to be with the Lord. Michael
was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on March 26, 1932, and grew up in New Jersey.
He served in the Air Force as a tech Sargent. In 1955 married the love of his life Alice
Jacqueline LeRenu and was happily married for 54 years. He was survived by his sister Agnes
McAndrew. Michael was a proud father to his six surviving children, 4 grandchildren and 6 great
grandchildren.
Michael was ordained a deacon on June 6, 1987, and served as a deacon for 37 years at St.
Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas Texas. He was involved in many areas including Knights of
Columbus, boy scouts, prison ministry and visitations.
Rosary will be held on Wednesday night June 19, 2024, at 6:30 pm at St. Pius X Catholic
Church Dallas, Texas.
The church service will be held on Thursday June 20, 2024, at 10:00 am, also at St. Pius X
Catholic Church.
