Teresa Marie (Berber) Hensley

Teresa Marie Hensley lived in the Garland area most of her life and was a caring daughter, friend, sister, aunt, cousin, and niece. She also lived in other places, including Colorado and Arkansas and enjoyed those life adventures. Teresa’s dogs and cats over the years were her ‘children’, and she loved and adored all her pets. Teresa had a few close friendships, and if you were in that circle, you had her loyalty, love, and generosity. Her love for her family was immeasurable and her smile at family gatherings spoke volumes. The recent loss of her mom was very hard for Teresa, and we know she is happy to be with her again. She was taken from this world far too soon by an aggressive form of cancer but is no longer suffering from that disease. Teresa will be missed by all who knew her, and particularly by those who received her love, kindness, and friendship.

Teresa is preceded in death by her mom Guadalupe Christensen (Moreno), stepdad Vernon Christensen, and several aunts, uncles and grandparents that welcomed her to heaven with open arms. She is survived by her biological father, Manuel Berber, sister Christina, and brother-in-law Curtis Castleberry, and nieces and nephew Catrina Holland, Camille, Carmen, and Cole Castleberry, of Heath, TX. She also has numerous cousins and aunts and uncles that love and miss her immensely.

Please join us in celebrating her life at Blue Goose Cantina on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Saturday, February 11 th at 2:00p
