On the eve of November 11, 2022, Perry Paul Gonzales of Rowlett went to be with the Lord at the age of 73.
Perry was born to Edwin and Opal Gonzales in Dallas January 23, 1949.
 
Perry served proudly in the Marines from 1966 through 1969 then followed up in the reserves from 1969 through 1972. Perry then stepped into a career of construction where he spent 42 years mastering the plastering trade which the last 22 years was with Baker Triangle, before retirement in 2011.
 
Perry was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed his spare time as flagman for various racetracks in the Dallas area in which he also drove when he had the opportunity. 
 
Perry is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Tony Gonzales and Brett Gonzales, his aunt Dorothy Wade, granddaughter Alyssa Gonzales and nieces, Stephanie Scott and Cynthany Gonzales. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Ally Gonzales, sister-in-law, Karen Gonzales, daughters and sons-in-law Shelly and Keith Forrest, Joni and John Lunsford, sons, Paul Gonzales and Brian Grimes, niece Tiffany Gonzales, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
