James Lermon, aged 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Corpus Christi, TX, on September 16, 2024. Born on May 5, 1944, in Dallas, TX, James lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of many with his kindness, wisdom, and generous spirit.

James spent his entire career working in grocery retail, spending his last years as a dedicated Produce Manager at IGA in Port Aransas, TX. Over the years, he made many friends and earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike.

He spent many years of his life in Dallas before moving to the country in Quinlan, TX. He later relocated to Brownwood, TX, then Odessa, TX, before settling in Corpus Christi to be near his family. James was also a devoted lover of animals and had four dogs whom he cherished dearly.

James will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Donna Lermon Davis, and son-in-law Brian Davis; his grandchildren Donovan Davis, Brianna Perez, TJ Davis, and James Davis; his great-grandchildren Emilie Davis, Landon Davis, and Kennedy Davis; and his brothers Ray Lermon and Fred Lermon. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lermon; his mother, Burena Leach; and his sister, Velma Jones.
