Thomas  A. Nortrup, of Springfield, Illinois, and Richardson, TX, died on May 4,2024 at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas.
He was born on September 17, 1954, in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Arthur and Henrietta (Lukeman) Nortrup.
He attended St Agnes Grade School, Griffin High School, Springfield College, and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale graduating with a degree in Accounting.  He had several accounting positions in Springfield before moving to the Dallas area in 1983.
He married Dina Terry in 1992 in Dallas.  She preceded him in death in 2000. 
While in Texas he was employed by several firms.

He is survived by two sisters, Rita Nortrup of Springfield, Illinois, and Teresa (Bill) Svetlik of Tucson, AZ.  He is also survived by Nanette (sister in law)and Mike Broyles of Texas. Also his sister and brother in laws in Washington and California. Several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas on Wednesday, May 15th at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center at 12477 Merit Drive, Dallas, TX, or to a charity of your choice.
