In Loving Memory of Sonia Miranda Rivas
Sonia Miranda Rivas, 56, passed away surrounded by the love of those who cherished her. Born on May 24, 1970, Sonia was a beautiful, strong, caring, and vibrant woman who found joy in making others happy.
She was a devoted mother to Daniel Louis Villarreal, Gina Renae Rivas, and Jason Julian Guerin, and a loving grandmother to Jayda, Dezmend, Emelia, Ezekiel, Lorre, Lillyanna, and Legend Mario Rodriguez. She shared a special friendship and bond with her best friend and ex-husband, Mario Rivas, with whom she shared many treasured memories.
Sonia courageously battled cancer with strength, grace, and determination. Her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Louis Antonio Miranda and Juanita Miranda; siblings Patricia Miranda Salas (Nolberto Salas), Cynthia Miranda Elizardo, Maricruz Miranda; Louis Antonio Miranda Jr., Jeremy Miranda (Melissa Miranda), and Jeffrey Miranda; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
Though her time with us was far too short, Sonia’s love and memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
